Incorrect dental and facial development can be treated at an early age but often no treatment is recommended. Habits such as mouth breathing, incorrect swallowing and tongue thrusting are all known to cause poor facial growth and crooked teeth.
Early treatment to correct these habits and develop the jaws will result in a better face, less need for braces, and no teeth extracted. Once the problem is recognized, MRC has the appropriate pre-orthodontic treatment available depending on the child's age.
